.......she went beyond her duties for me.........She has helped me gain my confidence back, and would do it all over again.

"A friend of mine recommended Mrs Grob to me when she knew I was considering having a tummy tuck.  After having two children very close together, I had been left with very deep stretchmarks and a disfigured tattoo, and I hated my reflection in the mirror.  

I arranged to meet with Mrs Grob in July 2011.  As soon as I met her I felt confident that she was extremely experienced.  She gave clear and honest advice.

I also wanted to have a breast uplift and liposculpture to my thighs, but Mrs Grob's advice was that it was not possible to have these procedures at the same time because of the length of time I would be in theatre.  Although I was disappointed, I did not want to meet another surgeon for a second opinion, as most patients do. I trusted Mrs Grob and understood the reasons for her advice. 

My operation was on 6 March 2012, and although I was so nervous and scared, I knew that I was in safe hands.  Mrs Grob visited me later that day and every day I was at the hospital.  I was so grateful for this as although everybody at the hospital were lovely and I could not speak more highly of them, it gave me reassurance that everything was going as it should. 

When Mrs Grob visited me after my operation, she explained all that had happened during the operation and she told me that she had discovered a hernia, which she was able to repair.  

When my dressings were first removed (12 April) I was thrilled with the results. The scar was neat, even and totally different to how I imagined it to be. Although I was still swollen, I was extremely happy with my new tummy.

I am now 6 months + post op and my scar has flattened and has settled down nicely, I am so happy.  

I would have no hesitation in recommending Mrs Grob.  As I have said above, she went beyond her duties for me, visited me at the hospital several times and even rang me, despite her hectic schedule and long working days.  I really cannot thank her enough! She has helped me gain my confidence back, and would do it all over again.
